Description
Niobium is a soft, grey, crystalline, ductile transition metal which has a very high melting point and it is corrosion resistant. Its melting point is 2468℃ and boiling point 4742℃. Because of the high anticorossion features, niobium plates are usually used in medical equipment production and used as biomaterial to make artificial bodies for injuries.
For example, the niobium plate or niobium sheet can be used to make up the injured skull of a person. Some spare parts or main parts of medical apparatus and instruments are made of niobium plate or niobium sheet.
